ICE- SKATING with XUEJING!:)

OK...today i took many pics...so let the pics do the talking:)haha

Today i went to Jurong East for ice skating with Xuejing...both of us haven't skate for ages...haha...finally found someone to go skating with me although both of us pale in comparison with some of the experts there...haha ...they skate so gracefully!

It was an enjoyable experience with xj and chit-chatting cum "heart-talk" session with her...lol..Huiting! see u go malaysia sun tan so hot ...we at ice -skating ring so cold...haha...must go join us watch the mummywhen u r back from the island k..Beach babe !?lol

And for the pple who want to see my curly hair...i uploaded my pics together in this post as well haha ...kill 2 birds with one stone:)

Yay...i'm enjoying driving lessons and tmr is my stage 1 evaluation for practical lessons before i can go to stage 2...it's so expensive to go thru so many(abt 10 subjects ) for each stage..luckily i pass mostly 2 subjects at a time .(.haha i'm a quick learner...LOL)...can save more money when the instructor allocated to me is gd...:) really explains clearly all my mistakes and explains clearly and throughly...

actually i find driving not as scary as the first time with the instructor keep scaring me abt accidents and stuff...i'm not the type that would speed ma...and i'm cautious ,,,that lesson really plunged my driving confidence,,no wonder i feel so stressed ...lol

now i feel safer as i can maneuvour the vehicle better:) and look forward to driving lessons too!
It's like some sort of joy car ride during our childhood days just that we cant bang into any body's car...lol...Safety is the best policy ...courtesy too...:)

sigh,,,so sorry havent put up any pic since the last hairdo pic...i will go search for my camera and transfer haha...psps...bear with it...i will post lots of pics soon!;)

IT"S a Love-Hate affair with driving lessons...

IT"S a Love-hate affair with Driving lessons...the thing i like about driving lessons is that it is fun to learn driving. But the down side of the practical lessons is that it is super stressful for me...I am always so tensed up when driving cos i know that my hand and and leg coordination doesnt seem very flexible..haha...Plus another thing is that there was one instructor who told me that on the main road outside, dont drive too slowly or stop suddenly or else the motorcycle behinds me would fly infront of me and land on my windscreen! its so scary whenever i drive cos the thought of it gives me the jitters...yucks!

So now i am attending practical lessons basically everyday during the holidays and the first time i drove on the mainroad i am so worried i would have an accident...so u see its so dangerous to learn driving haa cos the buses and taxis and cars in the "outside world- road " is so treacherous...

but i think everyone will feel the same way too ..be it guys or girls but i think i am just being a little over paranoid and anxious...i can't help it when my life and the instructor's is at stake...

But it is more assuring when u get a good instructor beside u...less panicky but still stressful!

OK...i ran 10 plus rounds of lane 8 at woodland stadium with my jogging mate yesterday to train for the nike plus 10 km...and my knee hurts today...am i getting old or wad? why does my knee hurt on and off...Does ANY KIND SOul know the problem and the remedy to my aching knees? it cant be lack of calcium cos i drink hi-cal milk regularly... I hope on 31th aug during the race, my knees wouldnt hurt that much or else how am i gng to complete the race?

Hi guys,

I'm back from camp ! Actually can't consider having gone for camp since i left on the second day where the most fun activities are on the last(3rd) day!:( Anyway, i have made some nice friends during the camp and established better relationship with other ens aquaintances:) I must say it was a fruitful trip with all the friends , fun , fever and flu virus i brought back home.haha... I also experienced the frustation of being nearly mute for 2 days .The following days i wasnt better off with my super horrible coarse and hoarse voice. Writing this post now, i feel much better..and is also audible if someone speaks to me. I think everyone who goes for camps are like this ...my other 2 friends from ens also had their "voice break " after the camp...must be all the fatigue and dehydration from running about while in camp.

Anyway, I got my new hairstyle! I've got CURLY hair!:) Straight hair bygones! Many said I look better in my new hairstyle when i met them in person. That's a heart -warming and exciting thought! It's the first time i'm doing digital perm.It took me three hours! However, it seemed quite fast as they had movie for me to watch on a personal smalll tv screen. i watched the Hottie Vs the Nottie. Paris Hilton( christabel) is so slim and pretty and sexy. Actually i feel that the Nottie(know as jane phigg in the movie) is not really ugly. They simply exaggerate, enhance and construct some non-existence hilarious flaws on entire small frame to make her look like some " dragon in the dungeon". I find the moral of the story quite intersting. Although some parts of the movie are quite boring.I have learnt that in the quest of searching for the perfect one, we actually ignore the ones who are perfect in our heart and are blinded by the searching process. BUt there is another take home message that the movie gives...although looks are not everything, it is still an influencing factor on first sight...sad but true! Anyway, for those who are not physically nor aesthetically endowed, do not worry as long u have a beautiful heart cos beauty lies in the eyes and heart of the beholder. Values matter most i think...dilligence, being humbe, and optimism are the way to go:) there are more but i think i'm getting long winded..

Back to my hair...lol.....ya ...i got a few pics on the process during my digital perm:) . Oh i forgot , the hairdresser was very attentive too . i told her i had sensitive skin and upon hearing my voice was so horrible , she kept asking me how i felt during the perm, whether my scalp was itchy or whether i needed water or the temp of the perm was too hot or not cos my hair was "extra -vigin hair" as wahat she said..lol...made me feel so pampered:)

Yay . after the whole perm this is how i look ...and my skin and hair was totally fine, felt great with my new hair!Now it has more volume and curls:)

Still pondering over some untangled issues in my mind which i can't resolve unless action has been taken...Does philosophy enlighten one's mind or is it just question one's mind to find the key to one's souls and heart? All the mundane issues are so complex even the simplest thing on earth is also made up of complex stuff! Is everthing really that simple ? or simply complex ? or complicatedly simple?

what am i talking about? somehing abstract which only like-minders and wise men would know. So ignore me if u dont understand. LOL

By the way i will be meeting my good friend cum JC classmate on thursday! Yays ! She is back from sterling on her summer vacation! Havent met her for ages since i aged ... she must be in for a surprise since i last met her...Hope she will not be too shocked ! HT, hope u dont get a heart attack when u see me! LOL...i rather u dont recognise me...( if u know i have a blog pls read this msg b4 u meet me)..haha

I will work hard to maintain what i looked like a year ago by loosing some excess pounds which crept on unconciously on me due to some bad habits and routine and biological clock havoc suffered during the stressful uni life...

Anyway i have a buddy who will go thru this with me and u know who u r ( its a secret btw us only...i will keep my lips crossed i promise!) and we need each other's encouragement! So hang in there for the 10 km race too! i swear that i must complete it not matter how tired on 31 Aug..and ...for the rest of the story ...pls stay tuned ...meanwhile i will be in econs camp from 11july to 13 july (fri - sun)...and i dont think any one will read my blog except that friend of mine since all my other friends dont really like reading blogs...sad...so i feel like i'm writing a diary for myself when i'm old so i can reflect on the things i have done and review the thought processes when i was in my younger days...;)intereting too. haha

Due to unforeseen circumstances wanting to create a fancyfull gmail address to use as a blogging username...i (as my blur self took possession of me when i dont have enough sleep) forgot my username and password! How can one be as forgetful as me ??? Has anyone met their opponent? Or else i now proclaim myself as the forgetful queen! LOL..

Ok, back to why i want to name my blog marilyn.merry.me is cos I(marilyn) wants to make herself and others merry.That's me! simple as that. I thought it would be as cool title ...If one day my bf/husband-to-be tells me : marilyn, marry me! haha ..i'm just thinking of reasons to explain why my blog name (if that's what it's called) sounds interesting and meaningful..what do u think?:)
